Does GetGround sign documents related to my property purchase?

No, GetGround doesn't sign, execute, or advise on documents connected to your property purchase itself. Here's why, and who to go to instead.

What GetGround's role covers

We act as your company secretary. That means we look after things like your company's statutory records, filings, and other company secretarial matters.

What it doesn't cover

Your property purchase is a separate legal transaction, handled by your solicitor. Documents connected to the purchase — for example, the contract, the transfer deed (TR2), or mortgage paperwork,  aren't something GetGround signs or advises on.

This is because we don't have full visibility of the purchase itself. Your solicitor is the one managing the transaction from end to end, so they have the full picture and are best placed to guide you on anything related to it.
