Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

1.1 This acceptable use policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules and standards that apply to your use of any tools, platforms, services or features provided by Terranova.Network Limited (Company Number: 11273793) or one of its affiliates (“GetGround”, “we”, “us”, “our”) that enable you to input information, upload documents, submit queries or otherwise interact with an artificial intelligence system, including but not limited to GetGround’s ‘AI Property Analyser’ (each, an “AI Tool”).

1.2 This AUP applies to all users of any AI Tool (“you”, “your”) and may supplement any applicable terms and conditions that govern your use of a specific AI Tool. In the event of any conflict between this AUP and the terms and conditions for a specific AI Tool, the terms and conditions for that AI Tool shall prevail.

1.3 By accessing or using any AI Tool, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree with this AUP, you must not use any AI Tool.

1.4 GetGround reserves the right to update this AUP at any time by publishing an updated version on our website. Your continued use of any AI Tool following publication of an updated AUP constitutes your acceptance of such updates.

2. AI Tools

2.1 Our AI Tools use artificial intelligence technology, including third-party artificial intelligence large language model technology (“LLM Technology”), to process your inputs and generate outputs.

2.2 You acknowledge that:

2.2.1 AI-generated outputs are automated and have not been independently reviewed, verified or approved by any GetGround employee or agent;

2.2.2 outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, biased or contain errors;

2.2.3 outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, tax, investment, financial or other advice; and

2.2.4 you should independently verify all outputs before relying on them or making any decisions based on them.

3. Permitted Use

3.1 You may use the AI Tools only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this AUP, the applicable terms and conditions relating to each AI Tool and all applicable laws and regulations.

3.2 You must use the AI Tools responsibly and in good faith and in a manner that does not harm or interfere with the rights of GetGround, other users or any third party.

3.3 You must not use the AI Tools in a way which may be offensive or cause harm or reputational damage to GetGround.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use any AI Tool to do any of the following.

4.1 Unlawful or harmful activity

(a) Engage in, facilitate, promote or encourage any illegal, immoral, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful activity.

(b) Violate or infringe the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, data protection rights or contractual rights.

(c) Harass, bully, threaten, defame, abuse or intimidate any person.

(d) Generate, distribute or facilitate the distribution of spam, phishing materials or unsolicited communications.

(e) Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

4.2 Harmful or offensive content

(a) Upload, submit, generate or distribute any content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, discriminatory, racist, hateful, threatening, violent or otherwise objectionable.

(b) Generate or distribute content that promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism or any form of exploitation.

(c) Generate content designed to deceive, manipulate or mislead others, including deepfakes or synthetic media intended to mislead.

4.3 Security and system integrity

(a) Introduce or transmit any virus, trojan, worm, logic bomb, ransomware, spyware or any other malicious or technologically harmful material.

(b) Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any AI Tool, its underlying systems, servers, networks or databases.

(c) Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any AI Tool or underlying system, or attempt to breach any security or authentication measures.

(d) Use any AI Tool to extract, scrape, mine or harvest data from the AI Tool or its underlying systems beyond what is provided to you through normal use.

(e) Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, models or underlying technology of any AI Tool.

(f) Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of any AI Tool (for example, by means of a denial-of-service attack).

(g) Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical, security or access restrictions.

4.4 Misuse of AI outputs

(a) Present AI-generated outputs as human-authored professional advice, including legal, tax, financial or other advice.

(b) Use AI-generated outputs to make any investment, financial, tax or legal decision without independently verifying the information and, where appropriate, seeking independent professional advice.

(c) Redistribute, sublicense or commercially exploit AI-generated outputs (or any part of the AI Tool) without GetGround’s prior written consent.

5. Document Uploads

5.1 Your responsibilities

Where an AI Tool permits you to upload documents or files, you agree to the following additional rules.

(a) You are solely responsible for the content of any document you upload and you warrant that you have all necessary rights, consents and authorisations to upload such documents.

(b) You must not upload documents belonging to any third party without their express authorisation.

(c) You must not upload documents containing another person’s personal data unless you have a valid legal basis and all necessary consents under applicable data protection laws to share that data with GetGround and its third-party technology providers.

(d) You should review documents before uploading them and redact or remove any unnecessary sensitive personal data (such as full bank account numbers, passwords, national insurance numbers or similar identifiers) that is not required for the analysis you are seeking.

(e) You must ensure that any document you upload does not contain malware, viruses, corrupted files or any other harmful software or data.

(f) You must comply with any file size, format or other technical restrictions communicated to you.

5.2 Prohibited uploads

You must not upload any document or file that.

(a) Is unlawful, fraudulent or obtained through illegal means.

(b) Infringes any third party’s intellectual property rights, trade secrets, privacy rights or other legal rights.

(c) Contains defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, hateful or otherwise objectionable material.

(d) Contains classified, government-restricted or export-controlled information.

(e) You do not have the legal right or authority to share.

(f) Is designed to manipulate, exploit or test the vulnerabilities of the AI Tool or its underlying technology.

6. Monitoring and Enforcement

6.1 GetGround does not actively monitor the content submitted to or generated by our AI Tools. However, GetGround reserves the right (but is not obliged) to review, investigate and take action in respect of any use of an AI Tool that it suspects may breach this AUP.

6.2 If GetGround determines, in its sole discretion, that you have breached this AUP, GetGround may take any or all of the following actions:

(a) issue a warning;

(b) temporarily or permanently suspend or terminate your access to some or all AI Tools;

(c) remove any content or document you have uploaded; and/or

(d) report the matter to law enforcement authorities or regulatory bodies.

6.3 GetGround will endeavour to notify you of any action taken under Clause 6.2 where it is reasonably practicable to do so.

7. Reporting Concerns

7.1 If you become aware of any use of an AI Tool that you believe may breach this AUP, please report it to us immediately by emailing notices@getground.co.uk.

8.1 This AUP should be read alongside the all applicable terms and conditions relating to each AI Tool and our Privacy Policy which set out your and our respective rights and obligations in full, including in respect of liability, data protection, intellectual property and confidentiality.
