Offboarding Your Company

You can choose to offboard your company and retain full ownership

What is offboarding?

Offboarding is the process of formally ending your relationship with GetGround. This happens when your company is no longer active or you no longer need our services. It includes finalising your accounts, removing GetGround as your company secretary and accountant, and closing your GetGround account.

What does the offboarding process include?

  • Termination of GetGround’s business account services

  • Removal of GetGround as company secretary

  • Change of company name (if required)
  • Secure storage of your records for the statutory retention period (minimum 6 years)

Can I still access my documents after offboarding?

Yes. You’ll retain view-only access to your GetGround account for a limited period after offboarding. We also store your records securely for the legally required period (usually a minimum of 6 years). We strongly recommend downloading all key documents before your account is closed, as view-only access is not permanent.

Can I reactivate my account after offboarding?

If your company is still active, you can return to GetGround at any time by re-adding the company to your portfolio. If your company has been dissolved, reactivation is not possible.
