What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your account. Even if your password is compromised, 2FA helps keep your account secure. 

What authenticator apps can I use?

You can use any time-based one-time password (TOTP) app. We recommend:

  • Google Authenticator (recommended)

  • Authy (note: Authy's desktop app has been discontinued; the mobile app remains available)

  • Microsoft Authenticator

  • 1Password (with 2FA support)

 

If we have reset your 2FA, you will be able to re-set it back up upon your first log in attempt.
