A confirmation statement must be filed annually

What is a confirmation statement?

A confirmation statement is a legal filing submitted to Companies House that confirms your company’s registered details — such as its registered address, directors, and shareholders — are accurate and up to date. It must be filed at least once every 12 months, within 14 days of the end of your review period (the 12-month window starting from your incorporation date or last filing date).

When is my confirmation statement due?

Your confirmation statement is due every 12 months from either:

  • The date your company was incorporated, or

  • The date of your last confirmation statement.

You have 14 days after the end of your review period to complete the filing. Missing this deadline can result in a penalty or, in serious cases, your company being struck off the register.

GetGround tracks these deadlines for you and handles the filing on your behalf, so you never have to worry about missing one.
